Recently Digital Foundry did a tech breakdown and analysis on Death Stranding and it seems they were thoroughly impressed. They went as for to say that Death Stranding is a new benchmark for this console generation. We know that PS4 exclusives both first and 2nd party have impressed this entire console cycle but it seems a though developers haven’t hit the ceiling yet. To think that Kojima Productions latest game surpasses games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, God of War, and Spider-Man is very impressive.
On top of that we also learned that Sony’s Guerrilla Games played a much bigger role in the development of DS. It turns out that over 70 Guerrilla devs helped out Kojima Productions with this game and that explains why it was able to finish up development so quickly.
