From cheating scandals to drug abuse, many celebrities have found themselves at the center of attention after being caught in embarrassing situations. However, there are also celebrity scandals that everyone seems to pretend never happened. These are the scandals that have been swept under the rug, and conveniently forgotten about by the public.
Here are some of the celebrity scandals that everyone pretends never happened:
1. Lindsay Lohan’s multiple run-ins with the law
Former child star Lindsay Lohan has had her fair share of scandalous moments, from a DUI arrest to stealing a necklace. However, it seems that everyone has forgiven her for her past mistakes and has continued to support her career.
2. Hugh Grant’s arrest for soliciting a prostitute
In the late 90s, beloved actor Hugh Grant was caught soliciting a prostitute in Los Angeles. Although he was criticized at the time, he was able to make a comeback in his career and is now widely respected in the film industry.
3. David Letterman’s affair with his assistant
In 2009, late-night talk show host David Letterman admitted to having an affair with his assistant. Despite being a major scandal at the time, the public seems to have forgotten about it and Letterman continues to be a popular TV personality.
