Gotham gets a new trailer, and this Batman doesn’t blink at automatic gunfire.
Warner Bros. dropped the second official trailer for Matt Reeves’ The Batman during the virtual DC FanDome event on October 16, 2021, giving fans their longest look yet at Robert Pattinson’s take on the cowl ahead of the film’s March 4, 2022 release. The Supporting Cast Comes Into Focus
Beyond Pattinson and Dano, the trailer gives real weight to Zoë Kravitz’s Selina Kyle, shown forming an uneasy, mutually suspicious alliance with Wayne rather than a straightforward romance. Jeffrey Wright’s Lieutenant James Gordon and Andy Serkis’s Alfred Pennyworth also get substantial screen time, filling out the two relationships — one professional, one paternal — that anchor Bruce Wayne outside the suit.
