A tech-world satire disguised as a sci-fi movie trailer just gave Amazon its next big swing.

The two start developing a bond that complicates the show’s real hook: mounting evidence that Nathan’s crash wasn’t an accident at all, but something closer to murder.

Zainab Johnson plays Aleesha, Kevin Bigley plays Luke, and Owen Daniels rounds out the ensemble as the Lakeview A.I. Guy — the digital concierge whose cheerful customer-service patter is practically its own running joke. Together they give Upload the same layered supporting bench that made Daniels’ earlier shows rewatchable, even as the central mystery around Nathan’s death pushes the plot forward.
