MONSTERS AT WORK Trailer (2021)
“Monsters At Work” takes place the day after the Monsters, Incorporated power plant started harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis.
It’s thanks to Mike and Sulley’s discovery that laughter generates ten times more energy than screams. It follows the story of Tylor Tuskmon, an eager young monster who graduated top of his class at Monsters University and always dreamed of becoming a Scarer, until he lands a job at Monsters, Incorporated and discovers that scaring is out and laughter is in.
How does the Monsters, Inc. factory operate in the series, and what type of energy fuels it?
The highly anticipated series “MONSTERS AT WORK” is set to debut on Disney+ on July 2, 2021. This animated comedy takes place after the events of the beloved Pixar film “Monsters, Inc.” and follows the misadventures of Tylor Tuskmon, a recent Scare Major graduate who dreams of working alongside his idols Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, also known as Sulley.
The trailer for “MONSTERS AT WORK” premiered on June 11, 2021, and immediately captured the attention of fans of the original film. The trailer opens with the familiar sight of the Monsters, Inc. factory, now reinvented as Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, a power plant fueled by the laughter of children instead of screams. Tylor is introduced as an enthusiastic and ambitious monster eager to make a name for himself in the company.
However, Tylor is soon disappointed to learn that he has been placed in the MIFT (Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team) department instead of the prestigious Scare Team. MIFT is responsible for fixing jammed doors and ensuring the smooth operation of the factory. Tylor is joined by his fellow MIFT colleagues, including the sarcastic Val Little and the fumbling Fritz.
The trailer showcases the hilariously inept MIFT team as they attempt to accomplish their mundane tasks while still desperately seeking recognition from their Scare Team heroes. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including a sassy little girl who proves to be a challenge for even the most seasoned monsters.
“MONSTERS AT WORK” features a star-studded voice cast including Ben Feldman as Tylor, Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, John Goodman as James P. Sullivan, Mindy Kaling as Val Little, and Henry Winkler as Fritz. The series promises to deliver the same heartwarming and hilarious moments as its predecessor while introducing new characters and expanding the world of Monsters, Inc.
Fans of the original film can look forward to hearing plenty of nods and references to the beloved characters and events of “Monsters, Inc.” in this new series. From the catchy soundtrack to the charming animation style, the “MONSTERS AT WORK” trailer proves that Pixar is once again bringing their A-game to the small screen.
