Lemon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

– 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

– 1 cup cornstarch

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon white pepper

– Juice of 2 lemons

– 1/2 cup sugar

– 1/2 cup water

– 1 tablespoon cornstarch

– 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, mix together the cornstarch, salt, and white pepper. Add the chicken pieces and coat well.

2. In a separate bowl, mix together the lemon juice, sugar, water, and cornstarch until well combined.

3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add the lemon sauce mixture and stir until it thickens, about 1-2 minutes.

5. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss until coated in the lemon sauce.

6. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Chilli Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup cornstarch

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

– 3 tablespoons chopped garlic

– 3 tablespoons chopped ginger

– 3 fresh red chillies, sliced

– 1/4 cup soy sauce

– 1/4 cup vinegar

– 1/4 cup cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 2 tablespoons sesame oil

– 1/4 cup scallions, chopped

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, mix together the cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken pieces and coat well.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add the garlic, ginger, and chillies. Stir until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

4. Add the soy sauce and vinegar to the skillet and stir until well combined. Add the cornstarch mixture and honey and stir until the sauce thickens.

5. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss until coated in the sauce.

6. Drizzle with sesame oil and top with scallions before serving.
